Ceiling and Wall Repair

Further renovation work at the 1825 4th street house.

Two of the upstairs bedrooms in this home had badly deteriorating sheetrock and drywall. In some places, entire 4x8 sections where entirely missing. I removed all crumbling plaster and sheetrock, secured the edges, and installed new drywall furred down to the correct height. Several large sections of wall had been damaged by an unchecked roof leak; all crumbling mortar was removed and the walls skimmed with the appropriate joint compound to a flush finished surface.
